Last time I post a wip

I never post WIPS because I'm always worried something happens like I lose interest and then I feel annoyed at myself for not finishing it. And the one time I do, hopeful the the reluctance to leave something posted but unfinished would keep me honest as it were, I end up hating the story because it's terrible and unrecoverable.

Should I just leave it unfinished or finish it somehow even if it remains awful?
